Genesis 1:3

(Let there be light: and there was light) In Genesis 1:3, "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 』   The light in 1:3 is different from the light in the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is light without darkness. 1 John 1:5 『This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 』.  However, the light of the world is a light that presupposes darkness. If the light is obscured, it becomes dark. When God created heaven and earth, the world was darkness. The word dark means that there is no God. Meanwhile, God created the light. This light is the light of matter.  So this light is not the light of God. Why did God not let God's light shine, but the light of material on the world? Light serves to illuminate darkness. When light comes, darkness disappears, and when light goes, darkness comes. So, light and darkness are not together. Light is the source of the power that life can...

Genesis 1:4-5

(God divided the light from the darkness)   (Genesis 1:4-5) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 』   『 God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 』 The light contains the promise that "God will give light to the world of darkness, and one day true light will come to this world." The light of matter shines this world, and likewise the true light of God comes and shines upon the dead spirit. However, the light of the world cannot shines the whole world at the same time. When light goes, darkness comes, and when light comes, darkness goes away. Light and darkness cannot coexist. Why did God divide light and darkness?  This does not mean physically dividing, but it means that when true light comes into the world, it is divided into those who enter true light and those who are in darkness. In Joh...

Genesis 1:6-13

(The waters which were above the firmament and under the firmament )  In Genesis 1:6-13『And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after...

Genesis 1:14-19

(Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night)   Genesis 1:14-19『And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 』  In 1:5, 『And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. And in chapter 1 verses 14-19, 『Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day fr...

Genesis 1:20-23

(Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life)   In Genesis 1:20-23『And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 』   『Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, creature, in Hebrew, means living creature. In Genesis 2:7, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. This soul is the same word as Genesis 1:20. Birds and sea animals are both...

Genesis 1:24-27

(God created man in his own image)   Genesis 1:24-27『And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 』   What is God's image? Many people misunderstand God's image as a character. So, they think that people have good things because they have the character of God in their hearts. However, when people live in the world, they say that they h...

Genesis 1:28-31

(God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold)   (Genesis 1:28-31)『And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. 』   『replenish the earth, and subdue it』 It is to obey God completely. So, Christ rules all things. What God said to the first man, Adam, "replenis...

Genesis 2:1-3

(on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day)   『Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. 』 (Genesis 2:1-3)  God created heaven and earth in the beginning. He created the material world by blocking the light of God from the kingdom of God. That is why the world was created as a water mass of darkness. Humans cannot know how deep this darkness is. God shows how deep human sin is through the depths of darkness. Then God created the light of matter and separated day and night. However, people misunderstand that God created the first day.  The first day began after God separated the light into low and night. Day 0 and day 1 are differen...

Genesis 2:4-5

(These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created)   In Genesis 2:4-5『These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 』   God says in Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. (2:5) Even though the saints have the eyes of the flesh, if they look at the Word of God with their spiritual eyes, they can understand the will of God through the works of the earth. Rain is the word of God.  In Deuteronomy 32:1-3『Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil ...

Genesis 2:6-7

( The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground )   But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Although translated as "mist" in the English Bible, when the word in the TR text flooded the river, the word "Edu" was used as the word flood. In other words, the Hebrew word means not only fog, but also a well and a river. It would have had to be translated into a river or a spring if it had soaked the entire surface. So, the river flowed out and moistened the ground. So, in Genesis 2:10 『 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 』 . It became "adama" because it soaked water in the face of the ground. It is the soil (adama) that has been moistened with water on the ground. Apar means dust and ash. However, when w...
