Genesis 3: 7

The eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (In ) It means that they have forgotten that the Spirit has left God because they wear flesh. The spirit's eyes are closed. So, the flesh's eyes (self-righteousness) became bright. They knew that they were naked Adam was not afraid of being physically naked, but was fearful (ashamed) because of being spiritually free from God.

There is no word skirt in the original text. In Genesis 3: 9-10, And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. However, they did not realize that they had left God. So, they tried to overcome fear through their own righteousness. Human descendants forgot the fact that they had left God and fell into sin without knowing what sin was.

Since human beings become fearful (shameful) because of their escape from God, human beings make idols, and believe that they can become divine beings themselves and try to be strong. Because the spirit entered the soil and became human, the human born in the world did not know what sin was. Sin is that it is sin that has left God. However, they do not realize sin because they do not know that they have left God. The first man (Christ's image: Adam) brought all the spirits into the world by the flesh and became sinners, and the last Adam took the spirits of the chosen ones into the body of the spirit and made them righteous. There is a death between the first man Adam (sinner) and the last man Adam (righteous).

Human death is a physical death that cannot be avoided by anyone. However, the death of Adam, the last man, means both physical and simultaneous death. So those who are united to the death of the last Adam, in Christ they also die of sin. In order for sinners to be righteous, there must be death of sin. The first man, Adam, brought the spirits that had sinned in the kingdom of God into the world (sin is dead), and the last Adam took all the spirits.

Therefore, the way to return to the kingdom of God is that sin must die. Jesus Christ died the ransom to save all sinners. Those who are united with Jesus Christ are also dead to sin. Therefore, those who are united with Christ become dead with Jesus. If you do not die, sin remains the same. Romans 6: 7 makes it clear: "For the dead are free from sin and are justified."

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (3:7). The word skirt means a protective waistband. The belt was made of fig tree leaves. In Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. loins girt is the word of truth. The fig tree means the law given to Israel. They were trying to discover the truth through the law. By the way, it means that the truth cannot be found and the result of relying on one's righteousness. Humans who sinned in the garden of Eden (this land) realized fear through God's Word and had to repent and go to God, who were hiding in their own righteousness. One's righteousness is to rationalize oneself and eventually to leave the Word of God.

When we look at the leaves of the fig tree, there is a case where Jesus cursed the fig tree. God chose Israel, gave the law, and there should have been fruit, but it was cursed because there was no fruit. The fruit is to find Christ in the law. However, Israel was still locked in the law. In Galatians 3:23, But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

The Israelites should have repented while trying to keep the law, realizing that they were sinners, and looking to the coming Christ. But because they do not, the law did not lead to Christ. In 3:24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Faith is given by God through Christ. Even if humans think and say, "I believe in God," it is that faith does not come. Only God gives faith who enters into Christ

Each leaf of a fig tree is a clause of the law. In the Bible, God is telling the people, "I will let them know that they are naked through the law as weave fig leaves." Through the law, God will let them know that they are the ones who left God (sinners). Because they did not know that they were sinners who left God. Nevertheless, the Israelites were angry with God. Because even though the law was given to them, they did not realize their sins and were indulged in their own righteousness.

God chose Abraham and promised, "I will make a great nation and give you the land because of you." Abraham gave birth to Isaac, and Isaac gave birth to Jacob, so God called Jacob Israel. And because of Jacob's son, Joseph, he moved from Canaan to Egypt, and after 430 years they went out to Egypt and returned to Canaan. At this time, God gave the Israelites the law to be observed in Canaan on Mount Sinai. By the way, when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, did God promise the future through Genesis 3: 7?

"They made the leaves of fig trees and made them skirts." From the Bible, what God wants to do to humans is that you don't know what sin is. Sin is sin that has left God. It is a sin to leave the kingdom of God and be in this world. God is going to let them know what the consequences of human sin are, and through judgment. But humans will not realize what sin is. So, God would choose a people to give the law and make a covenant to make them realize sin.

God first covenanted in Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. And God judged humans by Noah's Flood and made a rainbow covenant. God will not judge with water, but God is telling us that there is another judgment. And God made Israel through the covenant with Abraham and made Israel a covenant people and gave the law as a sign of it.

However, Israel did not know that they had left God, and eventually fell into their own righteousness, and Israel was judged many times and destroyed again and again. God has now given the Gentiles a chance to be saved in Israel. If the Gentiles realize that they have left God and repent and do not return to God, they will be judged like Israel. There are sins committed in this world, but sins in the Bible are those that have left God in the kingdom of God. That is why we are talking about forgetting God. Because they forget God, they want to become like God by themselves or serve Satan through idols and become one with Satan.
