Genesis 2:10-14

(A river went out of Eden to water the garden)

『And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. 』 (Genesis 2:10-14)

『The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden』. There is a tree in the garden. The tree bears fruit. Eden means the kingdom of God. God planted the kingdom of God on this earth. God wants to bear the fruit of the kingdom of God. God had a plan to build the kingdom of God on earth before the foundation of the world, and the plan of salvation was to plant the garden (the kingdom of God on earth). So, God tells humans what to do to bear fruit.

『 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads 』 The river is called "Nahar" in Hebrew, which means "flow." 『The river (water: Word of God) flows from Eden (God's kingdom), wetting the garden (God's kingdom on this earth), and wetting the garden is water under the firmament. Originally, there was only one water, but since God makes firmament, it is divided into water above the firmament and water under the firmament. So, the Bible tries to show that the water above the firmament was originally from the kingdom of God.

Water under the firmament means the law given by God. The law is the word of God showing that man is a sinner. However, humans are trying to fulfill the righteousness of God by keeping the law. So, water under the firmament is water with that intention. It is water that humans think can gain eternal life by their own power. So, the water that wet the garden is a law and a tree to know good and evil.

 The word "A river went out of Eden to water the garden" is the word of God (the law) given to the people of God in this land. 『from thence it was parted, and became into four heads』 It means Eden. The word (law) from the kingdom of God wets the garden (the kingdom of God on earth) and has become your source, and your source represents the world. The word four is everywhere and refers to the whole world. In Revelation 7:1『And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 』

The law, the word of God, is scattered among the people of the world, and is the standard of judgment for them. In other words, without all God, all people do their best to become like God by doing good. Everywhere the river flows into four places is wetted by the word of God (the law). Human beings fall into their own righteousness and think that they can become good people. In other words, everyone in the world is looking for something for eternal life and making eternal life in their own way. But God is to seek the true word of truth through the four rivers. However, the Bible tells us that only the first river has the good word of God, the law, and the church.

『 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone 』 The Bison River flowed into the land of Haveli. Hawila is a place name in Israel, but it means sandy land (desert). By the way, there is gold. In the Bible, gold symbolizes the word of God. In Exodus 25:10-22, gold was used to make the ark (evidence ark). The ark of evidence is a tablet of the law. Revelation 3:18『 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 』 Jesus is speaking to the Laodicea Church. You are poor (about the kingdom of God), so you are going to buy gold (the word of God). Gold, which is practiced with fire, is the word revealed and realized by the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells the church to buy free, "pure gold" is God's good word, and that word is in the desert.

『Bdellium』 means pearl. In Numbers 11:7, 『And the manna was as coriander seed, and the color thereof as the color of bdellium. "Pearls are gems made in pain. In Matthew 13:45-46, 『Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it . "The business of seeking pearls means Jesus Christ." Jesus sold everything and bought a church. In other words, pear means the church.

『Onyx Stone』is a jewelry attached to priest's clothes. In Exodus 28:9-10, ``And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel: Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth. The name of Jacob's twelve sons (tribe) is engraved on Onyx Stone. Onyx Stone symbolizes Israel and means the law.

There is pure gold (God's good word) in the land of hiwillah (sand), bdellium (church), and Onyx Stone (law). That land, the river Bison flows. It represents Israel. God is telling people to find the true word of God through Israel. Israel was the model of the world.
From the second to the fourth lecture, there is no explanation like the first.『 the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. 』 People all over the world would have spread all over the world as a river flowed, trying to build their own kingdom. And they would have made every effort to save eternal life. They sinned in the kingdom of God and came to the material world, but they forget God, so they end up focusing on building their own world and forget God.

『 a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.』 Just as God's Word (the law) wets the garden and splits it and flows into the river, people around the world are looking for ways to become like God without God, according to the law. Well, God says. There is nothing in the second to fourth rivers, but only through the first river, Israel, to find the way to eternal life. Israel was the model of the world.

God speaks to all humans who come to this world through Adam. You are the ones who eat the fruit of the tree that knows good and evil in Eden, and that you want to be the one who knows good and evil in the world. However, God instructs all humans to seek eternal life, "through the word given to Israel." So, people see the stream and go up and bear fruit in the garden (the kingdom of God on earth). The garden means the kingdom of God on this earth. It will be Canaan for Israel.
